Hello! Welcome to Yoga with Sarah. My name is Sarah Van Der Stad and I’m a full time Yoga Teacher in Los Barriles, BCS. I offer a range of studio classes and private instruction throughout the community. I have practiced yoga for over 15 years and taught for several. It is my belief that the philosophical and physical practice of yoga allows us to move through life’s many challenges with grace, love, and kindness.

The idea that you must be wildly flexible or eat nothing but raw foods to be a yogi is a myth. These things certainly have their place, however there is so much more that yoga has to offer. Over the past three years I have helped many beginners find a personal yoga practice that benefits both mind and body. Perhaps you are looking to stretch out over-worked muscles, soothe aches and pains, recover from injury. Or maybe you want to develop strength and agility, or just find a little peace of mind in a busy life. Whatever you motivation then yoga is for you. Yoga is subjective and can fit into any lifestyle. You will find my classes accessible, relaxed, and friendly and will only regret that you didn’t try it sooner! Arrive as you are, and that is perfect.
